Hello. We’re Tefu.
We create tableware and accessories that bring color to everyday life, using shell and water buffalo horn—materials nurtured by nature over long stretches of time.

All our products are handmade, so there is a limit to how many we can produce. Creating samples for new designs can only be entrusted to our most skilled artisans, and even then, we can make at most around 100 samples a year. Not all of them become products.

After 20 years of this ongoing trial and error, our range has gradually grown.

Here, we’d like to share, little by little, the stories behind how our products come to be, the appeal of our materials, our thoughts, as well as product information, ideas for how to use them, and glimpses of daily life in our stores.
