General Care

• Do not use in a microwave, dishwasher, or dish dryer.
• After use, wash with lukewarm or cool water and wipe dry with a soft cloth. Because our products are carefully polished, most everyday food residue can be rinsed away with water alone. For stubborn grease, use a mild, neutral detergent diluted with water.
• Avoid using scouring brushes or abrasive cleaners, as they may scratch the surface.

Shell

• Strong impact may cause breakage. Please handle with care.
• Shell is sensitive to acids. Prolonged contact with acidic foods or beverages may dull its surface luster. Even brief contact may affect the finish, so please avoid exposure whenever possible. Common acidic foods and beverages include:

Vinegar, salad dressing, mayonnaise, lemon juice, orange juice, yogurt, and carbonated water. (Foods and beverages with a sour taste are often acidic.)

Buffalo Horn

• Buffalo horn naturally absorbs and releases moisture, which may cause slight warping or bending. Repeated exposure to very humid and very dry conditions may damage the product. Avoid soaking it in water for extended periods.
• Buffalo horn can easily change shape when exposed to heat. Temperatures above 70°C may cause the product to melt. Prolonged exposure to temperatures of 50–60°C may also cause deformation, so please avoid such conditions.
• After use, store the product away from excessively dry environments. Applying a very thin layer of olive oil or a similar oil with a cloth can help prevent excessive drying.

• Our chopsticks are made from dense, durable woods such as ebony and karin wood, and may develop slight warping or bending over time.
• Avoid soaking them in water for extended periods, as this may cause deformation or fading.
• The shell decorations on the chopsticks are sensitive to acids. Please take care to prevent these areas from coming into contact with acidic foods or beverages on the table or in the sink.

Shell

• Shell is sensitive to acids. Avoid contact with acidic foods and beverages. If any comes into contact with the product, wipe it off immediately.
• Avoid wearing the product in hot springs, baths, or showers, or while doing any activity involving water.
• Some ingredients in sunscreen and cosmetics may also damage the shell. Allow these products to dry completely before putting on the accessory.
• Sweat and skin oils are mildly acidic. Although they do not immediately affect the shell, prolonged contact may gradually alter the material and reduce its luster, leaving the surface cloudy or dull. After use, always wipe away any sweat, skin oils, or cosmetic residue with a tissue or soft, dry cloth.
• Rings remain in close contact with the skin and are therefore exposed to mildly acidic substances for extended periods. Shell rings sold by us since June 2021 have been treated to improve their acid resistance, significantly slowing acid-related deterioration compared with untreated products. Even so, we recommend wiping the surface after each use to help keep your ring in good condition for as long as possible.
• Shell has a hardness similar to glass or porcelain and is relatively resistant to surface scratches caused by friction. However, it may crack or break if dropped or struck against a hard object. Please take care to avoid dropping it from a height or knocking it against hard surfaces.
• Please remove the accessory before sleeping to avoid accidental impact or damage.

Buffalo Horn

• Buffalo horn is lightweight and flexible, making it relatively resistant to breakage when dropped. However, its surface is soft and can scratch easily. Please avoid contact or friction with hard objects whenever possible.
• Buffalo horn naturally absorbs and releases moisture. Prolonged dryness may cause the surface to splinter or crack. For long-term storage, apply a very thin layer of olive oil or a similar oil to help protect it from drying out.
• Avoid wearing the product in the bath or shower, or while doing any activity involving water.
• If scratches or rough areas accumulate on the surface, the material may gradually lose its luster. In such cases, gently polishing it with the buffing side of a commercially available nail buffer can help restore some of its shine.
• Buffalo horn has properties similar to nails and skin. We hope you will care for it gently, just as you would your skin, so that you can enjoy it for many years.
• Please remove the accessory before sleeping to avoid accidental impact or damage.

Silver

• Some of our necklace chains are made of sterling silver (925 silver). Silver gradually tarnishes and darkens when exposed to components in the air. To minimize discoloration, store the chain in a sealed plastic bag or similar container after use to limit its exposure to air.
• If discoloration occurs, there are several common methods for cleaning silver, including the use of baking soda, salt, or silver cleaner. Whichever method you choose, always remove the charm first and clean only the silver chain. Cleaning solutions and products intended for silver may damage shell or buffalo horn, so please use them with care.
